If your customer base is small, and you need to acquire lots of clients to have a small market share, should you do segmentation or not?
How deep this segmentation should be. And should you use Data Mining techniques?
If I were you, I would do a basic segmentation to basically know who your customers are. Because the outside world is bigger than your database. And the outside world contains wider variety of people who are not your customers yet.
So, doing a detailed segmentation can adversely affect your beliefs about your business plan and your target people.
So, you should believe analytics without too much belief in it.
